Hey guys/gals...
I'm looking for some non-English music (why you ask? am I prejudice against english speaking lyrics and music you ask??...what if I am..whatcha gonna do about it...I'll model polygons around you! :P)  *ahem*

I am actually interested in just about anything you can through my way.  Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German...but not just European/Americas languages...
I'm sure, with this site being spread across the globe...there's sure to be some people that know of some interesting musicians that I have never heard of.

So how's the rest of your week going?  It's been awhile since I've posted here.  I might do some more video walk throughs.  Not sure what on though.

Anyways, Increality, out.

Hm, is it just about music in those foreign languages or does music in English but from artist of other countries count too?
And no matter what style?
I could come up with some German stuff. Some from other countries artist I know is in English tho.
I know Rammstein is pretty well know and popular over there, but I don't like 'em. The music is okay, but the lyrics suck...
Some other bands like Die Ärzte, Extrabreit and Die Toten Hosen come to my mind. You should check out one classic song: "Am Fenster" by City.
Guess you can find alot on youtube. If you want some mp3 ask me. I might have some, but no that much.
There is alot more, but I'm just not much into our music, lol.

Yeah, Am Fenster is cult. Its an old classic. The band was from the GDR but it became a hit here too.

Die Ärzte (The Doctors; btw they call themselves the best band in the world, lol) und Die Toten Hosen (The dead pants) are both bands that exists siunce many many years now. They have old and new stuff.
Extrabreit (Extrawide) is more or less history and its all a tad bit older. All of 'em are more of kind of punk bands. Extrabreit was cult with the song "Hooray, Hooray the school is burning" when I went to elementary school.
Of course we have more bands and singers, but nothing that really appeals that much to me. Marius Müller Westernhagen has some good stuff of his old one. Check out "Mit 18" and "Mit Pfefferminz bin ich Dein Prinz".
Do you know Heroes del Silencio? Liusten to Entre dos Tierras!!!

Oh, one band I forgot - JBO!
Its a fun metal band tho you won't understand the fun in the lyrics I'm afraid, lol.
Try "Verteidiger des wahren Blödsinns" (= Defenders of true nonsense).
Their name stand for James Blast Orchestra, but they aren't allowed to use it anymore, cos of the real James Last Orchestra...and James Last just got 80 these days and still is on tour again.

Another Band that comes to my mind is Bap. Old one, but still around. They are (in)famous for singing in the dialect if Köln/Cologne, which is a very strong (and silly!) and hard to understand one. Its the only dialect I can only very hardly understand. Sounds more like a language of its own. Even the Lower German up here is easier to understand (I think) and that IS an own language tho most think its just a dialect. Geez.
Whatever, try "Verdamp lang her". Its a classic and cult....and the only song they are really famous for outside the Köln area, lol.

Let's rock some.

I don't like Italian bands, but there are some that are really worth a try. Not many, but a couple for sure. First is Subsonica: interesting lyrics, great music. Then I'd suggest you my brother :D but his discs are mostly instrumentals and when there is someone singing... it's English ;)

Go for Subsonica and Marlene Kuntz. These would be my choices.
