Ah yes right, Halloween. [link]
I've heard about it...lol. Samhain too, but not this Dia de los Muertos, tho even with my not-existing Spanish can translate that.
:eye::eye:
Halloween is not big here in Germany. They have pushed it a bit within the last years (of course for pure monetary reasons), but basically only for the kindergarten kids so depending where you live you may see some kids going from house to house but usually not much. Its getting dark here very early now so the kids mainly dress up for some Halloween in the kindergarten on forenoon.
And each year at Halloween you hear some folks from the churches (catholic and evangelic) that the people should not celebrate such a non-christian thing and instead should focus
on the All Saints' Day(catholic) on Nov. 1st or Reformation Day(evengelic) today.
Its not a holyday here so pfffffffffff...:skull::fuzzydemon:
Happy pumkin day to ya'll anyways!

New Year's in germany is a blast :dance:
Except those rockets that go flying horizontally through the air that look like they could take off your head :fear:, that's kinda scary.

Hm, I thought you have fireworks over there too, lol.
Well, I dunno exacly what kind of rockets you mean...maybe it had been normal ones that just had been fired vertically...I did that once too a few times (one exploded under a car, lol).
Or did you liked our firecrackers? Geez, so many use 'em. And every year (stupid) people hurt themselve with 'em. Some are pretty powerful....at least powerful enough to blow a neighbours mailbox off the wall, lol....well, not such a big lol on that, cos I had to pay it...LOL
Oh yeah, and those really smart peeps who had one drink too much but still think they are explosion-experts. Lighting a firecracker with a firetool, yelling at all to go out of the way where he'll throw it to, then throws it....and then realizes that he didn't threw the friceracker, but the firetool instead....
I stopped wasting money on those firework stuff years ago. When you've been in the army once and used the professional fireworks that amateur-one becomes boring, lol.

I celebrate Halloween... I was in charge of a group of middle schoolers from church (we took them to a corn maze).

Candy + Middle Schoolers = psycho
