here's a scene I'm working on. sneak peak, just because you guys are so special :D

I plan on having water in the center piece, around the bottom there. Also there will be my character standing in the middle. I'm trying to figure out whether i should have torches on the pillars, and if so, if they should be on the inner sides, or the outsides (closer to the camera). The ground will have a tiling patter, which i'm still working on. I'll be using a displacement map, that i've created from a render of a 3d object i've made as the tiled floor. I can go through the process if anyone's interested, as I get further along with this.

So with my 3D, i'm going to try not to get sidetracked while i work on these two main projects (the other being the SCAR-Light that you've seen me post recently)

Ideas? Crits? Comments? Let me know! :D

I modeled the center pedestal piece thing first, and later realized that I had gone over board on polys :doh:

Reminds me a lil of that one map in CF Ghost Mode.
Tho if I'd had to guess I'd say its going to be a lil like as if its from an Indiana Jones movie.;)

Yeah, that or Tomb Raider. I'm still working on the concept, but i think a lot of the style will be shown in the texturing when it comes to that point. That map in CF's ghost mode is sweet. I'll have to draw some inspiration from that perhaps too. :D

I'm looking forward to see the finished project, hmmm I think it would be interesting if you are going to use some marble materials and textures.
